Why RS21 boats
The RS21 is designed for team sailing. The boats are lightweight, easy to handle, and built using high-tech materials. Everyone on board has a clear role, and you work as a team.
It makes learning effortless and every sail enjoyable from day one.
Training is led by Ihor Matvienko, an Olympic champion and an experienced coach. He won Olympic gold in Atlanta 1996, placed 6th at the Sydney 2000 Games, and finished 9th in Athens 2004.
Igor has also worked as a coach for national Olympic teams and brings over five years of experience in professional sailing projects such as TP52 and RC44.
His approach is practical and inspirational:
- mistakes are part of learning
- communication within the crew becomes clearer
- confidence builds without pressure
This is not complicated theory or elite language. It’s clear, effective sailing that works.

3 hours — coach-led drills plus a short debrief and next-step goals.
When do training sessions take place?
Training sessions are held regularly throughout the week. Available dates depend on weather conditions and crew schedules. Contact us or submit an inquiry form to receive the latest training schedule.
Are trainings suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. We adapt the focus to your level so you feel progress, not pressure.
What happens if the weather is not suitable?
We’ll reschedule or offer another slot and let you know early.
Do I need an IYT certificate to sail an RS21?
No. An IYT certificate is not required to participate in our RS21 training sessions. Whether you are an experienced sailor or looking to develop your keelboat racing skills, our professional coaches will ensure you receive the appropriate instruction and support on the water.
